Our Story
At Wildflower & Oak our focus is bringing you luxurious and long-lasting pure linen blankets in vibrant yet timeless shades. Our collection is ethically produced, hand dyed and gives back to mothers in need.
We wanted to produce a blanket that would stand the test of time. A blanket that would soften with every use, getting more cosy with every year that passed. A blanket dyed by hand so that every shade is just that little bit unique. A Wildflower & Oak blanket is truly yours, and yours alone.
Our fabric is sourced and sewn through our ethical production partner in Jaipur, India. We wanted to ensure that any production partner we work with in the making of Wildflower & Oak blankets follows Fair Trade practices to ensure a safe and equitable working relationship with all of the team members.
Every one of our Debut Collection pure linen blankets are then hand-dyed in Melbourne, Australia. We meticulously created and tested hundreds of colour combinations in the journey to selecting our 6 debut shades. Hours go into the hand dyeing process and we hope you will love the unique look that this brings to your new blanket.
It was paramount to us here at Wildflower & Oak HQ that we ensure a cycle of giving to mothers around the world is at the very heart of our business. With every blanket we sell, we will donate a clean delivery kit to help a mother in Haiti have a safe childbirth. Read more about our partnership with Midwives For Haiti here.
Our debut collection features a warm and earthy palette just perfect for embracing a new little life.
Wildflower & Oak is a labour of love, coffee and baby naps launched out of Melbourne by mama of three little monkeys Elysia Hansen.
